The Womens' Charter

Royston Golf Club recognise the need for change in the sport and are committed to the R & A Women In Golf Charter.

We are actively supporting a more inclusive culture by developing women’s involvement in every aspect of the sport, by purposely creating an environment that values everyone. We hope to make golf welcoming and inspiring to more women and girls.

Some of the initiatives of The Royston Women’s Charter are as follows:

promoting proportional representation on all committees.
creating an equal and integrated section through using the intelligentgolf facilities
developing a varied programme to attract more women and girls to golf
enhancing the on-course facilities, in association with the Conservators and the Greens Team
ensuring we are working within the Safe Golf guidance.
establishing effective communication through the Club Website and Social Media
